Infamous Game(inFAMOUS)

Posted: September 30, 2009 in Games Corner

ps3 infamous

Infamous (stylized as inFAMOUS) is a sandbox-style video game . It was developed by Sucker Punch Productions and was published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The game was released internationally in May and June 2009. The story is represented in comic book cut-scenes which are amazing. The story itself is an extraordinary piece of work, a huge twist in the end will explain every single detail of the whole campaign.nfamous is an open world game set in a fictional empire city which has been destroyed by a huge blast. The most interesting thing in the blast is the source of it, a package in the hands of a delivery boy named Cole. Sure, the whole city is in ruins and all the citizens are dead or dying, but what was happening to Cole was a completely opposite situation. He became stronger and gained the ability to hone electricity and use it for his own preference. Later on in the story you will understand why he gained those abilities from the blast and who was responsible for it but I won’t spoil the game for you.

in1in2

The game was received well by the gaming press. It was praised for many of its elements, including the implementation of Cole’s powers and climbing agility, and the game’s content and mission structure, as well as the sum of these elements that makes the game very alluring. Reviewers commented on the repetitive nature of combat and enemies, limitations of the Karma system, and technical aspects in the graphical display. Infamous was also compared and contrasted to Radical Entertainment’s Prototype, a video game released the following month with many similar elements of Infamous, including exploration of an open world-style city in despair by a protagonist with developing superpower.

Need for Speed: Shift

Need for Speed: Shift is the 13th installment of the long-running racing video game franchise Electronic Arts. It was announced in January 2009. Shift was developed by Slightly Mad Studios—who, under their former name Blimey! In the new franchising model for the series adopted by EA, Shift takes its place focusing on simulation racing and realistic drifting rather than the arcade racing of previous titles in the series. It abandons the street racing formula of previous games and focuses on simulating the “true” driver experience.

According to an interview from Shift’s producer, Geever, the game has been in development for two years. He also mentioned that the game will feature a new “Driver experience”. G-force will play an important role in the game, as it will affect both the player and the AI. The in-car view will also return, making its first appearance in aNeed for Speed game since Porsche Unleashed. The in-car view will be highly detailed, and it will be possible to see the driver changing gears and moving his head to get a better view of the mirror. The crashes will affect the players visuals. While crashing, there will be a temporary blur on screen. The sound aspect will have detailed car crash sound, as well as a sharp gasp of breath from the driver before a collision.
